The new management have upgraded the rooms and facilities. For a small town it is a great stay especially the suite! So considerate and clean.
Recently stayed at the Blue Hills while visiting family in the area. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. There is food services available within the motel. Although we did not have a meal here, it comes highly recommended by anyone we spoke with. This was all that we needed to stay and will stay again in the near future. Thanks to the staff that was very accommodating.

Sat in the bar side for supper. Food came from the attached "Back Home" restaurant. Had the steak special. Steak was cooked to perfection, and very tasty. Green beans were really good, served with fries and garlic bread.
Stopped at this gem of a place on a work trip! Wasn’t sure what to expect for small town motel, but it did not disappoint! The staff are super friendly, accomodating, and made you feel right at home! Lounge and restaurant were a great addition to the place! Great food and drinks. Would highly recommend this place to anyway looking for a somewhere to stay in the area!
We stumbled upon this hotel when we had roadside troubles in the area and needed a place to stay. We arrived later at night and although the sign said closed, we called the number on the door and a friendly voice assured me they could accommodate us for the night. The rooms were clean and comfortable! Food the next day was delicious and hospitality continued to make out stay a great experience. Avonlea is a great town with many friendly people! Will be a part of our trip we’ll never forget!
A nice spot to stay in the area. The room was comfortable and clean, though it was a bit stuffy and smelled a bit stale when we got there. Opening the window and some AC helped with that. Service was very nice. Would stay here again if in the area.
I want to say a huge Thank you to the owner(s) for accommodating 9 ppl on Thanksgiving Sunday. The rooms were clean and that Suit was amazing, truly felt like home. Blue Hill Motor Inn is a gem in a lovely small town. Thank you
